Default Electra glide upgrades?

Recently purchased a 09 Electra glide classic. I purchased a tourpack that is equipped with speakers and the little plastic bracket for the intercom receptacle. I would like to hook up the rear speakers and an intercom receptacle. I spoke with a parts guy at the Harley shop and he really couldn't help. He said my bike shouldn't even have the console mounted receptacle

Sorry, hit the send button prematurely. Anyway my bike has the Harman Karndon am/fm/wb /cd/CB radio. It has the console mounted receptacle. Cruise control and all of the hand controls to operate all that. My question is, is there a simple harness upgrade I can purchase to enable the rear speakers and passenger com receptacle. This is my first Harley, so go easy on me now. Thanks in advance for any input. Mike

I'd say no. If you go to Ronnies and look at what you would need to replace. I don't see why you couldn't run speaker wires to the rear. I'd think the stereo's were all the same.

And welcome to the family! Finally got my first Harley last year.

Are you sure it's a classic and not an ultra? The classic doesn't have the CB or intercom plug on the dash and the cruise control would be an added option. Also, the classic's radio doesn't have front to rear fader, but I think you might be able to have that flashed. Check the vin to see for sure what it is. If it's an ultra you can probably find the wires under the seat or behind the side cover.
