Default mirrors

My 2007 RKC mirrors are starting to go bad. Would like to get some opinions on the convex or the flat glass types. It has the convex on it now, but I'm thinking about putting flat glass on for better depth perception. Don't know if I would limit my field of view to much though by going with the flat glass.
Thanks,
Ron

The flat ones are a bit more critical, adjusting them so you can get the best view. With several bikes I have both types and can't say which I prefer, depends more on size and shape. My old Evo has rectangular ones which give a better view than some of the more trendy odd shapes.

I used to swear by the flat glass. But you get so much more view with the convex.

I have the HD split vision mirrors on my RK. Love them.

I don't think I have ever tried the convex mirrors. I usually look in the mirrors first and then turn my head and actually look before making a lane change.

I have them on my 16 RGS. They were on my 11 RGU. Great view. But I don't like the height of the stems.
