THat top race looks really good. If the bottom one looks like that, you're OK.
Its usually the bottom that's bad. Often you'll see a hairline crack from an impact, or a little indentation from wear, just where the 'normal' straightline riding position is.
Bottom race is the same as the top, happy re-using and started putting it all back together.....man the triple tree's are a PITA! Especially when you have to remove twice more because you forget the bump stop......then forget the chrome shroud!!!
I am stuck now as I have to order the shock top cap and bolt due to the threads being screwed - I very much doubt these are stock items in the UK so hopefully it will only be a few days from the Europe warehouse.
