Default overdrive

when we will see a true overdrive for the new six speed cruise drive trans ? would really be nice. really work great in the trikes.

I've had a Screaming Eagle 6OD transmission in my '05 Road Glide since it was new.
It's a great tranny, low 1st for maneuvering in parking lots and turns 3K RPM @ 80MPH.
It's also durable, 126,000 miles with Syn 3. so far....

your bike is a five speed from the factory, isn't it ? i was talking about an overdrive for the new six speed trans bikes.

A direct drive 6th gear is more efficient than OD would be - if you want to lower RPMs, change the rear sprocket... or buy a Baker 7-speed...

Damn...... I don't even use 6th unless i am going 70 or better.

The 2016 Tri Glide has the same transmission as the 2016 touring models.

yes, but the final drive is 30 tooth trans spocket and a 70 tooth rear. makes for a pretty screaming enegine.
