Default Cracks in Windshield 2016 Limited

I noticed that my 5 month old 2016 Limited has cracks in the windshield radiating out from both the left and right screw holes.

Attempting to get HD to replace under warranty.

The windshield is stock. HD dealer installed a window pouch and chrome strip before I picked up the bike and are covered under warranty. Cracks are about 1.5 inches long, 1 crack on the left side and 2 on the right side. The only thing that has hit the windshield are bugs, no other marks. 8700 miles.

Wondering if any one else has had this problem?

My guess is the dealer over torqued the screws when they put the new windshield in. I think they will replace it without much trouble.

Yes the screws were over tighten when they installed the windowshield pouch. Also check the trim piece to ensure it is not damaged and check the paint for cracks in that area as well.

Over tightened the screws. Had the same thing on my old '02 Ultra.

Default Same here

I just got a 2016 CVO street-glide and the first windshield cracked and was replaced by dealer. Cleaning the bike last night I noticed it is cracked again, same place on bottom right and left.

Time to replace it with a good one:

And it looks like they may be on sale.

I might order one of these for my Road King, I have some cracking at one screw as well. Dumb question, the height measurements they list are from the headlight cutout to the top of the shield, and not the overall length of the whole windshield correct?
