Getting slip on mufflers back on?

Had many a slip on on and off. Never really had any issues. Sometimes it can be a PITA to get going, but a little wiggle and a push and they slide right back on.

Never seeze, wd 40 may get it on but it will burn off and wont be of any assist next time you remove them. If you cant spread the ends or get an expander either use a large ball peen hammer (ball end) and tap the end tabs out. When you clamp it down will flatten out the spread ends.

Luring it up won't hurt anything, it will just smoke for a little while until it burns off. With that said, lube it up and twist back and forth while pushing it on. It sometimes helps to jiggle it up and down while pushing as well.

High Temperature Silicone. Helps to lubricate while wet and seal when dry.

I've Heard that you can put antisieze on the end of the head pipe where the mufflers slide on and it helps them slide on easier and are supposed to come off easier next time.
