We are heading out Wednesday and will get there Thursday. Just wondering how may people go to this, and what it's like. Looks like all the Harley dealers, the museum and the plant is involved. Is this a Harley rally! Kinda like the HOG rallies?
We planned to go to do the engine plant and the museum, and found out there is a rally going on. - kinda a cool surprise. Just going for 2 days and heading to puttin bay on our way back through.
its basically just a bunch of really big(almost over the top) dealer partys.all will have bands and vendors, my fav is hals. they can get crowded and be careful with parking at wisconsin? harley its street packing and the cops write lots of tickets.
(Map below). Here is the map avaliable on the Milwaukee Rally website showing the dealer locations, unfortunately I can't add where Sherman Park is on that map as it is locked.
(Map below). Here is Sherman Park where the incidents were. North Sherman Blvd and West Burleigh
Things seem to have settled down.

one of the dealers owns a strip club next to the dealership they also get involved.
That would be Milwaukee Harley and the strip club is Silk. Ive never been in there but I hear its the best in Milwaukee. Pretty much all the dealers/museum have different events going on. Vendors, bike shows, live music, parties. Thursday night bike night at the HD museum is a good time. I know during the bigger anniversary ( 100th, 110th) rallies theres a parade and some of the streets downtown shut down for block parties. The riots were confined to a small area on the north side. Stay away from north side and you will be fine
