My 14 Limited didnt' have that tool kit, not sure if they dealer removed it or what, but when I mentioned it to the dealer when I went in for recall #1, they just gave me one outa their stock. You're not missing much.
I did use the slot blade screwdriver from that gadget a month or so ago to remove the hinge screws on a motel bathroom door (long story), but have not used it to work on the bike. I use my real tools when I'm at home doing scheduled service, and have not yet broken down on the road to need any tools. Knock wood.
i havnt used a cb in a car or bike or anywhere else since the they came out with this pretty cool gizmo. they call it a smart phone or something like that.
Losing the CB is big deal to people that do large group rides or even local benefit rides. I use mine at least every other time i ride. As for the tool kit, I bet they just forgot to give it to you.
I don't think you're missing anything not getting a tool kit with the new bike. I was so disappointed by the folding tool kit in my '15 FLHTK (I mean it seemed there wasn't anything common it could do roadside) that I went out and got this:
