Default UC tour pak quick disconnect

Tried to help a friend with his quick disconnect kit for his UC. Looks like a nightmare to me. Can someone provide me with wording for a search of this thing. I've seen it discussed before but can't find it.

first you will need the tour pak disconnect brack...this is the part that actually bolts onto the pak.
second you will need the disconnect mounts that bolt to the rear frame portion of the bike.
Here is a pic of how they (the frame mounts will look).
[ol][*]If you have a antennae mounted or the pak tail lights or speakers then you will need to disconnect the wireharness for those inside of the pak. You will need to remove the pak inner liner to get to the harness.[*]Also, easily remove the rubber grommets that are on the front (under the backrest) of the pak. The wires to the above mentioned items are there. It makes pulling the wires out much easier.[*]Remove the pak. There are bolts in the bottom of the pak that mount the pak to the original bracket. Save these bolts/nuts.[*]remove the original mounting bracket and license plate holder[*]remove the saddlebags[*]The instructions for the frame mounts are a bit confusing so look at my pics to SEE how it is supposed to look once finished. You should be able to figure out what goes where.[*]The bracket mounts directly to the pak. Those instructions are actually pretty straight-forward and fairly easy to follow.[/ol]

Thanks Jb. That is a major help. Where do the wires go when TP is disconnected? I'm thinking they just get tucked under the seat.

The only time i have taken off my tour pak i just tucked them under the seat as you stated. Others might have better ideas. Since i rarely remove my tour pak...i am considering just putting the stock mount back on and selling the quick disconnect on ebay.
