Compete with the Victory bagger? That butt-ugly thing? Harley surely can do a better styling job than that! I'd love to see a Revo-based tour bike sans V-Rod frame and ergonomics. Keep the drivetrain and shuck the rest. Give us a 6 gallon tank for distance, too. If it has the ergonomics, some style and brakes, I have a check and a pen reserved.
You aint lying!!![:'(]That victory crap is wayyy to overNESSed in my book!!!!
I'm not sure I could aford one right now, but I just might trade both my other ones in on one, haveing had watercooled BMWs before I know what a good deal they can be...But of course watercooled is not for everybody, and this I know, many a BMW rider never got used to the water cooled ones either. will have to wait and see.
I'd love it if it were true, but people have been predicting Revo baggers for years now. If '08 is the year, I'll be first in line with money in hand.
Water buffalo? They're not really going to call it that, are they? I figured if anything, they'd reachtake out the Way Back Machineand call it the Hydra-Glide.
Water buffalo will never be used, that name came about many years back when suzuki built and sold their firt water cooled street bike. It was a complete flop, and you might see one in a museum.
flop??? not by those who understood them,,,,i see you had a kawasaki triple,,,,,,did you think h2's were a flop?? both of thes bikes were lightning fast and smooth runners.h2 750 triples were a huge "flop" if your looking at market acceptance and that stuff. i'd call both bikes mechanical marvels and would love to get my hands on a stock model of either. the suszuki 750 wasnt the prettiest bike out there but its little brother the gt550 was a handsome looking bike,,,also lightning quick. iw ould tell people that water cooled is coming.....but lets face it water cooled has been here for a long time and it is the wave of the future. water buffalo stays with the suzuki 750 triple.................hydra glide.....i like it
As much as i love my Road Glide I'd sell it for a Road Rod. Loved them the first time I saw a pic of one. Looks, Power out the A$$ and no fried thighs. Were do I sign Mr Loan Officer.
Heard they are ditching 9 models, and will be replaced with new. Could be a rumor. Do you think that the MOCO would pay off Cyclevision for their design? Why offer what is already out there. Crazy. The V-Rod is not the ideal plant for a dresser anyway. Who runs a dresser above 5 grand to get the max power except us weekend TNT'ers. This is going to bea HOT year for the MOCO and everyone in the mix. I can feel it. Everyone "WILL" be impressed. Show is in a couple month's.
