I am wanting to install CD led turn sig inserts on the rear of my 2010 Ultra. Will a load equalizer be needed for proper operation. Also wanting to go back with the amber lenses, so would I use clear or amber bulbs?
Thanks
if you're keeping the incandescents on the front, then you don't need a load equalizer. but if you go led front and back, then yes, you'll need a load equalizer. I used the signal stabilizer from cd, not much heat at all, easy installation.
second question has me a little flummoxed. are you talking about what bulbs to use in the non led side? or what color leds to use? I have the amber leds in the front on my wife's bike, with smoked lenses. they're obviously amber and are very bright.
I have the dynamic ringz on the front of my bike. when in run mode, they are white. when you hit the turn signal, they flash amber. also smoked lenses on them as well....
If you use a colored lens, do you use the clear bulbs or the color bulbs that match the lens color? Sorry for confusion....
I am just putting the led on the back with a BAL-1 tail light.

I have had the same Bright *** Light for over 5 years 0n two different bikes. My wife has one on her FatBoy as well. Love those things. People will actually stop 20 feet + behind you at a stoplight. Just where I want them.
