got it, again thanks. now for the Heel-Toe Foot Shift Lever. ive seen this for years but seems confusing on how to use it. just looks like it would trap your foot there.
Two definite opinions on it. Those that keep it on love it and those who don't yank that heel shifter off ASAP. I think a lot of the shifter shaft problems come from people that use it and step on it too aggressively. Kurryakyn makes a spacer as do a few other companies for cheap that takes up the space and cleans up the look. On the bikes that I have owned that had it made it from the dealer to the house and that was it. I have a nice little collection of brand new ones if I ever wear the toe ones out.
well just got back from Mother Road Harley-Davidson, 50 miles, just cut though the wind like a hot knife though butter. everything went great until i stopped in the dirt and leaned it just a little to much, can you say HEAVY
only other problem is getting it to go to neutral, it will skip it and go to second or skip it and go to first. there going to fix it. and trying to get the jensen JHD40BT to link with my iphone. cant find how to get it to blu-tooth pair, can get blu-tooth to show but not pair.
I have a 2013 Flhrc and love it. I have had no issues besides a set a defective tires replaced under warranty and the bag lid springs broke. ......... Enjoy!
i had the exactly same problems with the addition of lifter issues (under warranty). it gave the chance to go to Stage 2, since the lifters affected the cam. Other than that, had no other issues and have 32,000 miles on it.
Pay no attention to the nay sayers'. The 2013 is the best model built. It was the final incarnation of the simple Twinkies, without the un-needed and unwanted "upgrades". Quite simply, the 2013's are "the last of the good ones"......... IMHO

looks great RCCola45. and thats good to hear bikerlaw. diffidently going to take some time to get use to the, what seems like, a lower center of gravity than my old 90 FGXSTC. plus the weight difference. as for riding in the wind, cuts right though it. i just know its al ot harder to pick up from being on its side than my old FXSTC. but then your not suppose to lay them on there side. i mean they are a Iron Horse and they dont like laying on there side.
