My removable tour pack bracket slotted bushings are worn letting the tour pack rattle.Do they make a replacement slotted bushing of a different matl. so it does'nt wear as fast???
I had the same problem twice on my detachable tour pak rack,i never got more than 600-800 miles out of the bushings before they developed "flat spots" on the plastic bushings, allowing the tour pak to rattle and feel like it was falling off.i ended up going to a bolt on rack for the tour pak. the dealer will have the replacement bushings you need, there $8.00 each
front bushing is part number 53123-96 2ea. the rear mount bushings part number is53684-96a 4 each....Get your self a parts manual when order these...its a great reference tool....and will also show you how things come apart an go back together
