Thinking of getting a new fuel management autotuner for the bike. I have the old tuner on the bike when they remapped it. I am looking at the new tuners, question is, If I buy a new tuner will it replace the current map or do I have to go back to the dealer to map it back to stock and then put on the new tuner?
If you buy a Power Vision tuner from Fuel Moto they will load the map that would match your bike. When you receive it you'll hook it to your bike and upload the current map and save it. You'll then download the map provided and "Flash" The ECM with that map.

If you use a flash tuner like a power vision it will pull the current map off the ecm and sore it as the stock tune. Then you flash the tune you're using for your base map to the ecm.
I piggy back tuner like a power commander won't change the tune you currently have. You might have to play with few different base maps, but if using a true auto tune module it may get it close without an actual dyno tune.
No matter what,a dyno tune is better than an auto tune.
