The original battery in my '13 streetglide (been riding it since late summer '12) is about to give up, especially on cool mornings. Been looking at the Renegade Wicked Start or the Throttle X x-rated. Any suggestions? The wicked start has my attention because of the 600cca rating and reviews of extremely fast cranking. I ride till it's in the 30's so I need something with some *****.

Interesting, 600 CCA is nice. I am not sure about the mounting posts (quality), need to see some better pics.
I replaced my Sporty battery this year after 10 years of service.
Always started.
Harley battery.
My '07 Ultra battery was replaced last year, only because I got a sweet deal at J&P Open House. (Big Boar 1000 amp, that's what the battery says, for $75 from the clearance tent. List was $275.)
Original H-D battery tested 100% and now starts my diesel garden tractor.
Can't gripe about a Harley battery. I would have gone Harley again if it wasn't for the sweet deal on the Big Boar with full two year warranty.
Only four make battery's, that's it. When I worked for Yellow Freight I would pick up battery's at East Penn(Decka) take across town to Excide deliver them and they would put there labels on them.
I use Deka in everything I own. Boat, tractor, truck etc. I've always been pleased with their performance. Deka makes the HD battery but you can buy the same Deka withouth the moco labels for half price.
