I have the Vance & Hines power duals and the exhaust has always been hotter coming out of the left. I've seen many guys with the same exhaust as mine with a sooty black deposit on the exhaust tip of the left side only. I start noticing the sooty black deposit on mine after about 3000 miles if I don't do a thorough cleaning before that.
