not trying to be a dousche but the plug I made is made for the map sensor orange plug. You just remove the orange rubber plug from the MAP sensor, and press it onto the plug I made and the flanged end of the pin keeps the plug from falling into the engine. The pin on my brackets just mimics the hose barb on the MAP sensor. But I agree, the orange rubber plug is the best plug for the hole, and my bracket is the cleanest option for doing so. For 30 bucks, it's a Hella lot better looking than JB weld.
I suspect you misinterpreted what I meant (might not have been clearly stated). The JB Weld was intended to put a plastic cover back on the end of the sensor IF anything was uncovered when removing the part that sticks into the throttle body air passage. Had no intent to plug the sensor hole with JB weld. Started out by saying I was CHEAP and would use what was already on hand if possible. No offense taken, I would just use the sensor itself if there was enough left to make a decent plug.If not, your piece is very nice and not that expensive either. Nice to know there is an excellent alternative if the sensor is no longer serviceable as a plug.
Reviving threads to sell your stuff.....why not just do a legitimate ad ?
Figured what the hell. Already had a few people message me over this so people are hungry for this part. It's a shame s&s don't make one Ida gladly bought it. But since nobody does what would you do?
