Default Map sensor block off?

Just finished my M&M EFI to carb swap. I have one more detail to work out. Does anyone know of a block off plug for the manifold where the map sensor used to be? I may have to make something crude if I cannot buy one. If anyone has made one, I would be interested. Thanks all....

the conversion i have seen included a solid intake manifold.

if you have a hole, you could plug it with the sensor or tap it for a plug- bonus points if you can get the end of the plug flush on the interior

My carbed 06 uses a map sensor to control timing.

The ignition I used did not need input from the map sensor so it was eliminated. Would have been nice to have purchased a solid manifold or a nice aluminum plug and have been done with it. I may try and tap the hole in the manifold. Ill strive for the bonus points. Thanks for the replies...

Default Block Off Plug stainless steel for sale.

I sell a custom block off plate that is perfect. If interested email me at dbrodecky@gmail.com..

This shows installed on manifold.

Plug is made of 304 stainless steel 1/8" thick and designed to fit S&S Super E manifold for sure. Dont know how they compare to any others. I would imagine all S&S share the same pattern dimensionally.

You use the same orange rubber plug that the map sensor uses on the pin. The flanged end of the pin holds the orange plug perfectly in place.

Default Old threads never die

I know it's old and he probably figured it out but I stumbled across this post looking for the same thing and nobody makes anything so I figured screw it I'll make one myself and put it out there cause if I needed one, someone else might too.

Being CHEAP, I would try cutting off the bottom of the MAP sensor and use JB weld to seal the end if that exposes anything that might get sucked into the engine. That would still be the perfect plug to fit the hole.

not trying to be a dousche but the plug I made is made for the map sensor orange plug. You just remove the orange rubber plug from the MAP sensor, and press it onto the plug I made and the flanged end of the pin keeps the plug from falling into the engine. The pin on my brackets just mimics the hose barb on the MAP sensor. But I agree, the orange rubber plug is the best plug for the hole, and my bracket is the cleanest option for doing so. For 30 bucks, it's a Hella lot better looking than JB weld.
