i have a 06 streetglide and thinking of going with works 12' shocks. i have read the post on this forum and i'm more interested in what riders did not like about them. are they worth the money, ride, etc.

 

I have 12" Street Tracker, thw only thing I don't like about them is; I guess there is nothing I dislike about them. Smooth ride

 

I think the biggest drawback to Works shocks is the ridiculous price, but what isn't priced that way when it is a Harley specific part???

I don't think WP is radically overpriced, considering the competition. The Progressive 440 is about $75 cheaper, also a good shock, after the WP organizational discount. Tell them you're a HOG member and they'll give you 10% off. Make sure you want them, though, because they may try to charge you 20% restocking fee if you return them, even if unmounted. Customer service is poor, based on first-hand experience. YMMV.
