Thanks fellas. Yes, I've considered the air suspension. Not ready to commit to the cost. Looking for simple, low cost, safe way to drop the rear slightly. Sounds like some like the kits, some not so much. Guess I'll get a set, if I don't like, will yank em out.

Here's some I found in a real for sale ad. You might consider what I'm trying. I bought a take off stock 13 inch shocks for $20 on ebay, and had them shipped directly to bitchin baggers. They rework them and shorten them in 1/2" increments from 3/4 to 2 1/2 inches for $175. I wish I could speak to the ride quality, but I won't have them in hand for another 4 or 5 days. I can then resell my old set (hopefully for more than $20 lol) and recoup some of my money, or I can keep them and swap them out for long rides with the wife and a full load. I think it was an affordable approach compared to the many shock options out there.
