Default Installing Progressive Monotube - 1 spacer or two?

Should be here Friday and taking the bike to my indy for install. I have read varying opinions about the number of spacers. Seems like instructions call for two but many saying this is too stiff.

I weigh in at 180 and wife is probably close (I don't ask). Most riding however is solo.

Input from you guys who have them?

I am running two clips. That said, is it stiff? Yes, but, I like it. Little brake dive test soaks up jarring bumps with no bottoming. Compared to stock suspension on my '16 work motor things are really tightened up. Bike is 02 Ultra, Tour Pak off mostly and almost all solo. I run around 215. I and see how some would say too stiff, like everything matter of preference. I have no experience with just one clip but imagine it would still be stiffer than stock which is an improvement. Good luck.

I'm running 2 clips on my RK and it is pretty stiff. I weigh around 280 however so it is about right for me. My son weighs in at about 205 and felt that 2 clips was a little stiff for his liking. I removed one and he really likes the way it feels

I'm 250, still went with 1. Passenger weight has little to no affect on the fronts.
Brake dive, or lack thereof, is one of the first things you'll notice.

They will break in after a few thousand miles.

Still nowhere near as good as the ohlins out back...lol.

I think I ended up with 1 on my '97, not sure though.
I did not buy them directly through Progressive but they were full of answers when I had questions, including how to set up based on weight and terrain.
Sure rode better though!
