If quiet (and performance) is what you're after, then a SuperTrapp 2into1 is what ya need. If you hafe to have 2 pipes, they also make slip-ons...
Fatcat is a GREAT pipe, but even with the "quiet" baffle, they are not all that quiet on a hot motor w/ 10+:1 CR.
This is good advice, I agree 100% & I've owned both pipes.
I also have a 10.5 compression motor & with Woods cams in it it makes any pipes a LOT louder.
I now run a Supertrapp Supermeg for that exact reason. I had a Fatcat & I loved it, but no matter what baffle you run it is still really loud on a motor like that.

Cool...cause we're firing my new motor up tomorrow and can't wait to hear it run with a the new Fatcat on this hot 107" build. I likes it loud!
I'm on my 8th exhaust trying to find the right mix of performance and sound..........and now I've found it.
When I did my motor build last fall I had Rinehart TD's on and I ran into the samething, they became just way too loud. I couldn't ride without getting a headache and my ears were killing me.
With the Supertrapp I gain the performance of the 2-1 system, but at the sametime I limit the noise output with the discs/closed endcap. It will still bark when cranking on it, but while cruising it is nice and deep.....just a rumble.
