Ok replaced the rear brake switch and the light still stays on??? Where to go next? Like I said before the front switch does click the relay when pushed in and out.. is there a way to by pass the rear switch, I always use my front. Stupid question how do you remove the light bulb before I do something I'm not supposed to do.. I did unplugged the rear switch and the light stayed on tested the 2 wires both had power???? Want to ride this weekend...

The rear switch has 2 wires, disconnect 1 and put a zip tie around the 2 to hold it in place.
If the light still stays on its the front switch or the relay.
Mine doesn't have a relay for the brake light.

Thanks,, do you know how to test the front switch? But if the front switch was bad why is it still clicking the relay?

Could be the relay is clicking and not breaking contact internally.

The switch is normally closed switch. So it opens when pressed, Try pushing on the button with a screwdriver, but be careful.

If the brake light goes off when you press the front switch with your finger then the tit has broken off and needs to be extended, screw or JB Weld, or replace switch. I didn't see it mentioned but did you have your bars off recently?

I was going there next, but was puzzled that the "relay" was clicking when he pressed the lever
That would indicate the witch was working, so the "relay" maybe fused or there's a short. Maybe the filaments in the bulb fused together.
Did you replace the bulb yet?

No haven't replaced the bars, it the front switch is clicking the relay does that mean its ok and I should check the relay, bulb looks good all wires are still connected no broken wires. But how do I get the bulb out? I see the two tabs but nit not what they do, might have to ride tomorrow with it on.

What tabs? A picture would help. There's usually 2 screws.
