"Old mans' bike"
Used to ride to work, rain or shine, summer and winter on a 700 Virago.... Even then, in my 20's, I yearned for a bigger bike with a nicer ride. So. No younger people have their neural networks connected yet. When they do, they buy a bagger..

Ride what you must until you can afford a bagger. Then to keep the other bike for those days when you wish to relive the past. Works for me. Wish I had hung on to some of the earlier ones . I did keep the 1996 Fb still ride it , but sure the heck is match for the M8.

Haha They are Old Man bikes. My daughter talked me into getting a bagger to ride with my friends as she said I had out grown my chopper. Still got the chopper but I am really glad I listen to her.

I've almost got an old man bike (added fairing to my 'King) and am damn proud of it. After riding it for 4 years, I wouldn't ride anything but a touring bike. BIL has a Fatboy, and it's real nice don't get me wrong, but he has to backpack if he's taking stuff with him. I just drop it in the saddle bag and go. I'll add a tour pack to mine and then it's done.
