10.7 volts resting is also not healthy but if that was under a load, ie while the starter was spinning, it's a good voltage.

14 volts while the engine is at idle is what it's susposed to be because that is not battery voltage, it's the output voltage of the bikes charging system. Although you should really check that voltage with the engine at 2000 rpm. HD's target voltage is 14.2v @ 2k rpm.

The key to testing any battery is that it be fully charged before any testing is done. That includes new batteries because, while they come with a good charge, they are not fully charged.

On my '07 Ultra, which is, electrically and electronically speaking, a generation older. The accessory position activates the radio, the accessory switch panel and the rear running lights but not the front lights. Oddly, IMO, the hazard flashers cannot be activated in the accessory position, only the ignition position. ..
Your '14 with the CANBUS electronics is likely programmable to many different configurations.
I tested the battery as soon as I got home with it from Harley.

My hazard lights will also work with the switch on accessory.

I'm kinda on the fence about taking it in for the diagnostics tomorrow. I doubt anything is wrong with it. I'd read early this week the international models were set for both front and rear light to come on in accessory mode. Paying them $50+ to plug it in a computer and doing 30 seconds work switching something is nuts.

I kept the appointment with the dealership.

They checked the electrical system, and said the rear lights should come on in accessory mode, but someone at the factory or the previous owner may have requested the front lights also coming on.

They set it up so now in accessory only the tunes, power ports, and emergency flashers work.

Got there around 2:00 and was riding out by 2:45. Had to wait an extra 15 minuets for them to wash the bike. So I got my problem fixed, a clean bike and the price was zero. Bike's warranty ran out last April. I like stuff that's CooL!

According to the manual, the headlights will not come on with the accessory for US models. They will, however, come on for some international models. (See the asterisk note on the picture.)

I saw that in the book that came with my bike. During a google search I found a lot of peoples rear lights came on with accessory.

No clue, just glad it's OK and set up the way I wanted it.
