Wscott thanks for the battery link got the yuasa's gyz32hl/500cc, paid $126 for this battery to my door from phatperf online using their christmas coupon (xmas5). Winner winner chicken dinner!!

I understand that you're on your way to resolving your problem. But, FWIW, the charging system will usually throw a code, for either under or over charge.
Also, and I think I saw it mentioned but it's worth reiterating. Always check both ends of all battery connecting wires to be sure they are clean and tight.

Thanks ORradtech, I checked for DTC's before I removed the bad battery didn't have any so I'm hoping its a simple battery issue. If not I'll be back to hit the forum family up for some troubleshooting help.

NP & glad to see you got the best price i have ever seen on Yuasa's great maint free factory activated GYZ32HL/500cca AGM battery for.
If possible put a maint charger on the battery to ensure it's at full charge prior to installing it.
Let us know how well it spins over / starts your HD after you install it.

Living in Texas with the heat has cost me some batteries in all of my vehicles over the years. My daughter went through them in Arizona as well. I would like to know how your new battery works and lasts as I am probably up for a new one as well although I do keep mine on the trickle charger.
