Hard start on my 07' Ultra
I only have 100 miles on my Ultra. I have noticed 2 or 3 times that after leaving the bike on accessorie mode for a long time while listening to the stereo that I can't get my bike started. It acts like it wants to start then it backfires. If I turn the key off for a second then put it back to start it will start. Anybody else seen this problem before? It may state this in the owners manual but I haven't looked. T.

It would be interesting to know what voltage you're working with after running your stereo for so long. The ECM requires at least 10.0 volts (+ or -)to properly initialize - if it doesn't, you will experience either a no start or a fault code while starting.

Could be that the fuel pressure for the EFI is bleeding down, and by turning the ignition off& onthe fuel pump (high-pitched whine you hear when turning on the ignition)repressurizes the system...
