Yes. It is also used on the truck-lite phase 7 head light.

I did not need it for the heritage, not sure on the touring models. I watched in install video from sunpie on YouTube for a road king, and they used that adaptor ring.

I went ahead and ordered it. Waiting to order the extended trim ring because I THINK that, by using this adapter, I won't need it.

Well I finally got to try out the light this past Saturday night and all I can say is WOW! Man this is such a huge improvement over the stock light. Much brighter than stock and with a good throw down the road as well as side to side. The high beam is unbelievable too.

I did not use this with mine. I was told it is needed if your light flickers and possibly on 2013 an older bikes.

Truck Lite. NAPA Auto Parts sells them. They are the company who makes them for H-D. I put them on my 2012 Ultra Limited. Love them!!

Got mine installed tonight using the adapter (Amazon Prime rocks!). Very pleased with the upgrade. All that's left is to aim the headlight.

The deal about the mounting ring is it depends on the year of the bike. My 2014 RK needed no ring but needed a harness so I didn't have to cut wires. Once I had the adapter it was truly plug and play.

I too really like mine.

I hope this helps

My problem with aftermarket day makers is that one seems to be not as bright than the other, (always on left side) I interchanged them and same thing, the problem seems to be with my motorcycle (FLHTK 2011). SUGGESTIONS.
