My problem with aftermarket day makers is that one seems to be not as bright than the other, (always on left side) I interchanged them and same thing, the problem seems to be with my motorcycle (FLHTK 2011). SUGGESTIONS.
I take my faring off a lot. At one point I was messing with the spot bracket. This change the position of the lights slightly. My wife was in front of me and asked what was wrong with My left spot light. Turns out all I had to do was straighten them out. Looked like one was just not as bright. Felt kinda dumb after words but glad it was an easy fix. Good luck
Got mine installed tonight using the adapter (Amazon Prime rocks!). Very pleased with the upgrade. All that's left is to aim the headlight.
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. I have an 04 Fatboy with a Road King nacelle. I ordered the Sunpie light and I have to order the adapter ring as the light did not fit in the bucket. Can you post some pics of your completed set up?
I would if I could but I traded the bike off for a new one a few weeks ago.
