I am redoing my suspension and want to use pre-load adjustable fork caps, simply to make set up a one time easy adjustment rather than play with spacers. This will also allow me to increase preload when the bike load changes
This is a conventional design Shown fork so I do not see how it would be any different from an aftermarket cap for a Jap bike.
My bike is halfway around the world right now and it seems likely that Showa used the same thread on all their 41mm fork tubes. - Does anyone have the thread size and pitch
I am hoping it is M37 x 1mm
I have cartridge emulators and looking to adjust the preload. In any case the fork cap is unaccesable so a bad idea and stupid question to ask without looking at the manual first
