Just thought I would throw this out for anyone that might be interested.
For those that know and fight with the stiffness of the SE diaphragm clutch spring, I found out today that after I installed one of Bakers "Heavy Duty Throwout Bearing Kits" the clutch lever pull if much lighter and very smooth feeling.
There may be other alternatives such as Baker, but I installed an H-D Diamondback clutch cable a few years ago and was amazed at how much lighter the pull became. I actually removed my EZ style clutch device.
... I actually removed my EZ style clutch device...
explanation;
The "EZ Boy Lite Clutch" is an extended lever kit ( $26) added inside the trap door for easier lever pull ( by longer travel) very popular since the early 90's.
( probably the best money you can spend on your bike)
- starting in 2007 HD used similar "EZ-PULL" clutch which also reduces left hand effort, but makes clucth ( not cable) adjustment more fiddley/ crucial for many owners
an upgraded clutch is often overlooked as part of a power upgrade...until something wears out

There are several devices which replace the stock parts and use different ways to reduce lever effort, with a longer lever or different ball ramps. They come with various names implying they are easier to use and all have the same short-coming, especially for older Harleys such as my '90 Glide, due to reduced lift at the pressure plate.
I previously had installed a Baker Heavy Duty Throw out bearing. Yesterday I installed a Rekluse auto clutch with a Screaming Eagle clutch spring. I was a bit worried that the new clutch spring would be harder to disengage. I too found that the lever pull remained light. I'm very pleased.
