Default Leaky Legends Air Ride!

I have a Legends Air Ride system on the rear of my SG. All of a sudden I air it up and can't get 10 miles before it's bottomed out! I aired it up and let the bike sit alone and 30 minutes later all laid out! Any ideas or has anyone had this issue with the Legends on a touring? Thanks for you help!

Mike,

There appears to be a leak! Uncover the shocks etc, so you can see them, pump the system up and, using soapy water, brush it on the shocks, hoses etc, to see if you can identify where it is getting out. It's no different to finding a puncture in an inner tube!

I am battleing a couple of leaks right now, probably self inflicted as I did some mods. Last night I ended taking the nacelle completely out to be able to reach the "t" fitting that's in there for the front fork. Air leaks are a pain specially when there are hidden components in hard to reach places. The other leak is at the left shock's fitting I am gonna go to a truck shop later to try and source some new fittings.
Next winter, I'll make sure I have everything laid out to replace the suspension. I don't want to have to deal with this crap indefinitely.

soapy water and a spray bottle, I like dawn dishwashing liquid as it makes a lot of suds also losing air that quickly is a major leak and if you listen close may even be able to hear it leaking down

one trick I use is wherever you can old a rag behind the fitting and kind of cup it then soak heavily with soapy water..

OP, I know this only partially applies to your case since you have an aftermarket system, but check/replace fittings if the airlines are good.
FWIW I fixed all my air leaks today and life is good again
All my lines were good.
I was loosing air almost instantly in the front. One of the fittings was broken on the plastic T and it was not holding the line in place. I replaced it with a metal t with new fittings that can be individually changed if needed.

Next was the left side shock leaking at the fitting. I pulled the line out and cut it straight. Still leaked. Replaced the fitting and no more leaks. I went ahead and replaced both fittings at the shocks.
4 hrs later and the pressure is holding perfectly. I also fixed a slow leak at the reservoir tank for the seat.
Hope the system will hold out for the 2017 season.
The fittings can be had online very cheap, 1/8" NPT and the line is 5/32 OD
I bought it all at a local hydraulic pump and hose shop.

Definitely try the soapy water method. Could be trash in your dump valve too.

That is just the police seat air reservoir. I normally don't use the small crash bar bag so I cut the bracket and stuck it in there.
However, there really is nothing to it, just a T, the valve and a 1.5" 100psi gauge. You could buy the gauge from eBay for about $8, the brass tee is about $3 and the valve is $5
