Same here I put a mark on the body and the adjuster end. Used a permanent marker (silver). Watch the video from Progressive for the sag set up. Call a friend over and split some beer while setting the sag.

If you don't want to send big money, $800+ for Ohlins and the like. Then just get a pair of the HD hand adjustables in the 13" variety.

I'm 180lbs and had those 944's. First with the Heavy duty spring, then the standard spring. Never could get them dialed in. Rode like a truck.

Just remember it's all subjective....

I'm 185 at 5'10" and have a 16 ultra setup just like yours, solo all the time with detach tour pak. I played around with the settings for a while and have recently just settled on no turns, after a few thousand miles it seems like it has gotten better. Like others have said I now feel how bad the front suspension is, so maybe in the future I'll tackle that project. But overall I'm liking my setup that I've got, not too rough but could be better.

I'm 170 and ride solo. I have mine set about 1 to 1.5 turns from minimum. Could not believe the difference in the ride when I installed them. Felt like I was floating down the road in a 1965 Caddy.
