Snap ring pliers

I need to swap out a clutch cable. anyone know what size snap ring pliers I need to do the job? Last time I did this I had some cheap ones and they were so frustrating I threw them away. Want to do it right this time.

There's a thread i haven't soon. But yet rings clear. the stupid snap ring tool that is always wobbly, to large of tips, this,that. why doesn't anyone make one one with a separate pliers with solid mounted tips for each configuration. Even the one in the picture if one of the tips are not in all the way you have to go at it at an angle or readjust the tip not to mention as you take them out of the pack seams there is always one missing that needs at least five min of on your head searching.
