Default Wheel fitment question

Will a 2013 streetglide 18" front wheel fit my 2004 Ultra?

Most should. As an example, go to this link for an 18" Reaper wheel and scroll down to fitment tab and it says it will fit Ultra Classic.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...in-front-wheel

I put Turbine wheels on my 2012 SG, website said it wouldn't fit, went to HD shop and the parts guy said it wouldn't fit, spoke to another parts girl and she consulted with service manager and he said it would absolutely fit. I bought it and it fits!

I believe the axle size is slightly different. Will need to change out the bearings in the newer wheel to your year. Not sure about the spacers.

yes, with the following modifications

install your 04 rotors on the 13 wheel.

buy a 25 mm front axle, now is the time to go flush mounted.

install, no need to change bearings.

or,

bolt on your 04 front rotors, change bearings to 1 inch vs 25 mm

install.

your choice.

The 25mm axle is good. If you go to 1 inch, buy 6205 bearings with the inside honed out to 1 inch, The early HD bearings won't work.

Early 1x21mm in later wheel...

Boiled...

Install 1x21mm into wheel designed for 25mmx15mm. They will protrude slightly. Trim spacers to accommodate

"Primary" left-side = Approx 1/16" bearing protrusion

Right-Side = Approx 1/8" bearing protrusion

Thanks,
Definitely a solution. Trim 6mm off each side spacer will work.. PITA if you don't have a lathe. Got a lathe? Cut the axle to 25mm. I've used a new rear spool on a 2000 dx with the 3/4 inch bearings sticking out that way.
