Yup, the D407/408 combo is a premium set of tires. I usually get about 11 or 12K out of my Dunnys.
My newer FXDL is on Michys now, so we'll see how that goes. Hoping I get at least 10K outa the rear.

I got a new Dunlop American Elite rear tire last summer. I have 11K on it and it still looks great. My OEM dulpop front tire now has 22k and is close to needing replaced. Maybe another 1-2k more. I am going to try and American Elite on the front as well next tire change

Had a 14 limited I traded in on a 17 RGU. Got 29700 out of the back and 24000 out of the front. Have always gotten at 20000+ on front and back on 4 other bikes Traded the bikes before the tires wore out.
