I went thorough 3 before I bought the Freedom Shield. Now both me and the wife are happy. I run a 14" touring. Top quality and no distortion in the flip. I will always run Freedom from now on. I still have a 13" LRS Stingray, think medium tint, that I liked but the wife didn't. I ran it for about 600 miles before I got the Freedom. I'd let you have that for $40 plus the ride if you're interested.

Always found the stock short ones on the RG a joke. Looks over function . The RGU factory one is fine for me, has been on 4 past RG and RGU's. For the heck of it I have a light smoked HD wind splitter ,on the 2017 RGU so far so good.

Freedom shields. I'm running a 13" touring on my 16RGS and it provides good coverage for me and wife. Absolutely top quality and beyond helpful to work with.

Everyone has an opinion so here is mine. My most current Road Glide I bought used and came with a Klock Werks shield which I found pretty much useless and wife hated it. Can't remember what shield I had on the last Road Glide, Freedom maybe but it was nice.

Dollar for dollar you can't beat LRS, especially when they are running specials. That is what is on my Glide now and have a number of them for my Road King. Had to change when my seat height changed dramatically. Have the regular Road King shield as well as some for my Memphis Shades fairing. And like said, try with the plastic still on and can be swapped out if the ride height is not good for you. But that being said, call them and they will talk about how to get very close to where you need to be.

Just noticed they are a forum sponsor off to the right of this page. Maybe they offer forum member discounts? Another reason to call. Very good people to work with.
