there are variations in actual dimensions of same "number" tires depending on maker.
The HD Dunlops are dual compound with harder center section for wear, and softer shoulders for corners.
The very similar "American Elite" series are less expensive, they lack the HD name.
I just use stock spec tyres on my bikes
there are lots of threads on "tires" if you use the forums search function- incl. "darkside" which refers to using car tyres.
We have a few members from OZ, list your town or State.
