exhaust
welcome to the forums.
the catalogs and websites are probably the best source for marketing material
The biggest advantage you will have is just by going to any header which doesn't have a catalytic converter- free-flowing.
many riders have the cat removed ( either diy using tutorial on the forums or ebay- $150) and retain stock mufflers.
with a high flow intake and tuning compensation, you'll see about 10 HP gained.
a 2/1 on a touring bike is a less a power advantage as it might be on a smaller framed bike- the large internal volume of the touring exhaust is a performance plus, and the "squashed" crossover pipe acts as a virtual 2/1. Most of the gas flow will go out the right side below say 3500 rpms.
We have a few members who are in AB ( I was born in Ded Rear)- for performance questions, mick cawthorne at kanes is a smart guy if you deal with them
stay warm!

Over this past weekend I saw a guy that had one of those 2 into 1 headers that kick out to the right side......but he also had 2 ghost pipes out the back! And from the back you could see all three pipes. Crazy....
LOL! Whatever floats your boat I guess...
