Last week I went with a friend to have his charging system checked and get his extended warranty. While I was waiting for him to get done I caught the new 2017 RGS in green out of the corner of my eye...(I need to learn to wait outside!).
After he was done getting his warranty, the salesman asked if I wanted to ride it, (we'll duh!). The next thing I know, I'm getting a quote.
I traded in my 2012 Ultra Classic and I'm now the proud owner of a 2017 RGS in Denim Black!
Down side is they still have it to put all the goodies on (14 inch apes, etc. Thankfully it's crazy a$$ cold here and only a eskimo would be out riding.

My last "road" bike was my 2000 Ultra that I bought new October, '99 and sold it in the spring of '13 after I bought my '13 CVO Ultra in October, '12.
I'm thinking about a new Tri-Glide (sometime in the near future) so one of the older bikes must go first as space, insurance, license fees is becoming an unnecessary burden.
The so-called "impulse buying" can lead to either a great or a horrible experience depending on circumstances. Obviously yours is a great experience so enjoy!
