I have owned my new bike for one week and just today I was informed it was a geezer glide! I guess that makes me the geezer. I will be 48 yrs. old in a week and if I knew what a pleasure it is to ride the FLHTCU I would of become a geezer many years before now. I absolutely luv it. Have been riding on the streets since age 16 and nothing has come close to how I feel rolling down the road on this bike. I am one happy geezer.
I have had my 93 Ultra for a little over a week and i have been told on a daily basis that it's a geezer glide too!! I had no idea i would become a geezer at the age of 28!! At least i will be a really comfortable geezer when i am riding!!!
I just started riding in 2003. Purchased an 03 VROD. Incredible bike!! Looked cool and fast. A few trips to Daytona and I realized this was not the bike. Then in 07 purchased a used 05 Fatboy. Sweet scooter. Love it. Two trips to Daytona and realized that I want more comfort and enjoyment of the "journey".
Now I plan on trading it for an 09 Road Glide or Street Glide. Everyone has a preference and a journey. I realized that bar hoping scooters (choppers and others) are extremely cool but not practical for me. That is why I keep trading up. Enjoy it to the fullest!
Ah, welcome to this very prestigious club. As I put up with Friends that own crotch rockets jibes, taunts and ridicule about my couch on two wheels, my barcalounger on two wheels, where's the big screen, can you make me a drink.......I know deep down that they're just deeply jealous, ripe with envy and plainly not mature enough to be in control of such a wonderful machine. Besides, they hate the smile I have after a days ride and ready for more when they're whimpering like little kids, "Daddy, are we there yet?" You can't beat the comfort factor of these rides! I say to them,...Muahahahaha
been ridin my RG since late Jan. of 02 and havin more fun than on any of my metrics. got 124,000 + on it now & plan on ridin it till the wheels fall off!
