Default Street Glide Mirrors

So I came across a great deal on an HD painted inner fairing. Cost me half of what is would have from the dealer. Now my dilemma is what to do with my mirrors. Inner fairing is vivid black but the matte black mirrors look terrible with it. I like the fairing mounted mirrors and want to retain them. Not sure its possible to disassemble the mirrors for paint without breaking the glass. And if you paint the mirrors assembled you lose the ability to adjust them. What is everybody else doing?

I'd take them off, tape them up, and then rattle can them in vivid black

From my understanding the mirrors can't be taken apart. Also once painted they can't be adjusted really. So I'm going to take mine off and paint them myself. The way I look at it, is after I adjusted them when I bought the bike in 2014 and haven't adjusted them since, I figured why not try it. If it doesn't last then I'll buy a new set of mirrors and learn from my mistake lol

Another option is to get those chrome covers for the mirrors.

Plenty of after market mirrors in gloss black and chrome. Also, you can buy a rattle can in gloss black.

Can you point me in the direction of the aftermarket mirrors in gloss black that fit on the fairing? I've searched everywhere and haven't found any that mount the same as stock. I'd rather have straight gloss black mirrors. Not that edge cut mirror Harley has to offer.
