Don't even carry it. Here in PA they read your plate anyway. I do have one, but split between two bikes and three cars, I never know which one it's in. I just register the plates. No problem so far.
At one point in time, motorcycle specific transponders were sold. They had a holder that mounted/clipped to the bars. Nowadays, EZpass Virginia does not support motorcycles using transponders.

Yes. However, we do not currently have a transponder that is designed for use with motorcycles. The transponder is designed to function best at an angle, similar to the one created by the windshield of a passenger vehicle. A transponder mounted on a motorcycle is at the customer's "own risk and liability."
