Kuryakyn Adjustable Pegs are the way to go. Even my 11 year old is very comfortable.

mine wants to put her feet up on the bars i dont have yet on the streetglide so looks like i will be getting rid of that clean look around the bags.

The stock RG bar and raising the pegs/pads will help. The low profile(Slanted ones) may help but are not cheap.

Yep, get the Kuryakyn adjustable passenger pegs like mentioned in another post. I have em and wifey seems to like them.

My wife (who is 5'1"), had complained when she first began riding with me. Now it's no problem. I think she was just 'tense' (she's wasn't a big cycle fan at the time) and needed to relax. Now the only time there is a problemis when I put the small leather bags onto the guards. She just moves her feet forward.

You didn't say how many miles your wife's got on the rear seat...Probably just a matter of finding her 'sweet spot' on the bike.
