Default Roadking Special handlebar adjustment

Hi Folks! I just bought the Roadking special. Can someone tell me how to adjust the handlebars? I'm not sure how the cover comes off.

First, the headlight and trim ring need to be removed. Then, there is a piece of trim across the top of the H/L housing that's held on with an 8mm/5/16" nut. Remove that piece.

Next, gently pry up the plastic trim around the fork lock. The bar clamp cover is held on by three fasteners. There is a machine screw and 8mm/5/16" nut in the front and two screws by the lock. (That front screw is a little tricky if you have big fingers, so have a magnet handy in case you loose grip on the nut or washer.) Remove the cover and gain access to the handlebar clamp. Loosen the allen bolts (best to use an allen-head socket and ratchet, as these are pretty tight and you'll need more leverage that you'd get with an allen key.) holding the clamp enough to move the handle bar to your desired position.

Re-assemble in reverse order and make sure you tighten the handlebar clamp down securely, before you put everything back together.

Actually, there is an easier way----If you look at the little name plate that says "RoadKing" on top of the nacelle just in front of the steering stem lock, you pop that off and you can access the 2 rear bolts in the top clamp. You can loosen them enough to move the bars up/down to your liking, then tighten them back up to spec and pop the "RoadKing" plate back on.
Ret showed me that trick after he installed my 12 inch bars. No need to have to take the whole nacelle apart to just change the bars angle.

Default Got a real tach now

Installed the harley Speedo with tach. I know the tach is kinda small but this is the first bike I've had without it and I missed having it. Pretty cool and you can change the colors on every thing (dial, LCD, needles ). It says 600 colors. Still playing with that. Digging it and looks oem

Unfortunately, on my bike there isn't anyway to get any sort of allen socket or wrench into the bolt heads because of the angle.

Otherwise, yes, that would be much, much easier.

Yes, it does come with a tiny 1/4 inch tall digital readout tach, but I prefer the sweeping hand of an analog type. Just easier to read at a glance for me.
