At 6'3", I gave up on trying to find anything to keep my head out of the slipstream. I have a 16" and a 22" screen and found that the buffeting is worse with the taller one. I do ride with a full-face helmet, so that's obviously a factor here...but, I prefer the shorter screen - it looks better and I'm more comfortable. I've also got fairly low bars, so that's a factor too. Honestly, there are so many variables, you really need to try stuff for yourself to see if its a good choice for you...and that can get expensive quickly.
Strangely, shorter girls seem to like me...not that that's any sort of problem, of course. I'm all for diversity and inclusion, when it comes to women.

That shield looks good - what is that? Also, I want to move my turn signals from the handlebars to the forks like you did. Is there a DIY write-up somewhere on how to do this and what relocation kit I need to buy?

Too funny yup same here my wife is 5'2" and I'm 6'3".

Thanks.
The shield is a stock H-D 16" light smoke one with black brackets (I actually painted a set of Harley chrome brackets I got on e-bay. This was before they offered black ones.)
The turn-signals were relocated using a Harley kit designed for the regular Road King. Everything is included, but only chrome was an option. I think you could probably substitute black brackets and lights from a 'Glide Special, if you wanted the all-black look...but, I like the little bit of chrome contrast with the rest of the black trim on the bike.
I sure wish you guys would have started the windshield conversation a few months earlier. It seems like all of us get drawn to the WS shield based on looks only to realize there are some design flaws. I ordered the 16 WS from HD and a 22 shield from Freedom Shields. My friend, who is a parts mgr at my local HD, had an extra set of WS brackets laying around that he sold me. The plan was to have 2 windshields, a 16 and a 22.
I ran into the same issues the rest of you have. I thought I could lean my handlebars back to account for the curve, but I think that will only work for the 16 WS.
I may just bite the bullet and order the standard brackets from Amazon. Before I order, though, are the brackets from Amazon any good or should I order from HD?
Also thinking about selling the WS shields and brackets.
You and me both, I picked up the wind splitter a short while back. It hits my bars even after putting spacers on it. Well the WS doesn't but the vent does. Now it just will be sitting in the garage and I'm lookin for a regular 16" with black hardware. Not sure what to do with the WS yet.

It's a damn shame b/c it is a great looking shield for our RKS and I didn't want to duplicate the look I already had on my 04 RKC which has the standard shield and brackets. Hell I must have over $600.00 wrapped up in 3 Windsplitter shields all told. I just can't bring myself to change to a standard setup now for even more dough. I just ride with my 22 Freedom WS and make the best of it. I'm actually getting used to the 70-80 mph winds bashing me in the face. Feels like victory!

Let me know if you decide to sell the brackets and hardware
