Well, the time has come to trade my RKS for a Road Glide Ultra. Too many long rides lead me to this decision.
Before I trade it, I'd like to sell some parts. Pictured is my scoot with the Glide Pro fairing that I bought a few months ago and have only used for a few miles. I paid $600 plus $66 shipping. Make me an offer. I'll deliver in Central Florida or ship if you pay actual shipping costs. Mounting hardware is included. PM me if interested.
More parts to come (perhaps the fender and Wind Splitter windshield.)
I finally got my bars in and we put them on over the weekend. I ended up going with 18 Vindikta Wildcats. Love the bars, but I am absolutely over internally wiring anything else for awhile! lol
Im very happy with my final decision and the guy at Vindikta was fantastic to deal with when ordering. When UPS screwed up on shipping, he was on the phone with them helping get things straightened out within minutes. Incredible customer service!
I have 3500 miles on mine and haven't seen any leaks but it seems like a lot of you guys are? Is this a common problem?
It sounds like it. I was surprised they only replaced the front gasket though... Guess they'll wait until the rear leaks before replacing it.
I ended up going back because I had a puddle in my garage after I got it back. Turns out it was just residual oil that wasn't properly cleaned up after the job. Unfortunate that they left it that way, but the next guy was more thorough and basically detailed the entire bike. Looks brand new again... So I'm happy and have no complaints.
Just keep an eye on it. Certainly better to have it replaced under warranty than later on down the road.

Ive had dealer oil changes like that. $300 service and its dribbling oil on my garage floor. Sad and shoddy.

Bike and bars look great especially with that Factory 47 engine guard. Nicely done....
