Fairing or just windshield?
Hoping you all can enlighten me further about my bike. I've scoured the internet and come up relatively empty handed besides a few suggestions from Harley owners. I bought a 1992 Ultra Classic Tour Glide from a guy a work with. But it appears the front fairing is missing. Numerous people have said the bike didn't come with the "batwing" style fairing. And others say it did. Besides that, when looking up my bike on google, yahoo etc., all searches yield pictures of bikes with dual headlights, and a gauge cluster that allows for a radio to be mounted under the gauges. Mine has no room for that. My gauge/dash has a speedo and tac side by side, on the same face, with turn signals and warning lights in between them. And a fuel needle at the bottom/middle. I found ONE picture on the internet that all my badges match and it shows a front fairing. Other pictures that guys are sending me do not show my badges, yet they claim, its the same bike. I visited my local Harley dealership to confirm that my bike is what the badges suggest. And they did. FLTCU is what the paperwork says. So, did my bike only come with a windshield from the factory? I'd like to return it to what it looked like straight off the showroom floor. Thanks HD Forums.
