Just curious not judging why would you go backward 50 years and convert to a chain ?
Chains aren't backwards in technology, but the main reasons most guys switch are: durability (chains don't break as easily as belts and are much easier to replace on the road if they do), strength, gearing options, look, and sometimes just because they like chains or hate belts.

Can't speak for their chain conversion itself, but having used vulcan parts in older Harleys they were always done very well and high quality. Price is pretty decent for the cush drive chain conversion.

Many get 100,000 miles on a belt no chain ever got near that ever. I have put 80,000 on a few of them. News flash belt don't really break that often.

NEWS FLASH. Come back and talk to us about belts after u start running 135-200 hp. On a fully loaded touring bike....lol Belts break constantly . The new bikes with Cush drive are the worst as it a very narrow WEAK belt. Get stuck on the side of the road in east bum f with a belt.....lol u won't be running one again. And yes my little 75 hp evo got 95k on a belt But my 12 ultra 51k and rear belt looked horrible with a stock lathargic motor....... But. Suspect your here to stir the pot and not help the OP....

Well said .... mine is down as I write this waiting on the delivery of a chain drive conversion. 124 ft-lbs and 3,000 miles later equals sitting on the side of the road. Even the first 500 miles after the 107" build, the belt was frayed and replaced under warranty .... "hmmmm, never seen this happen before and we have built plenty of motors and the riders are thrashing their builds", yea, right.
