Default Oil Drain Plug

I just got a 2001 Road King and would like to change the oil but I can not find the oil drain plug. I was hoping for some help to let me know where it is located.

Under the bike on the pan. It is the one that is a little on the left side of the pan facing to the front. The one that faces straight down is the transmission. The plug will require a 5/8" socket. It also has a 1/4" allen wrench recess in the center of the plug.

If you are going to do your own maintainance, you really need to get a shop manual. It will have all the info you need to change oil, adjust belts and chains, align rear tires, change tires etc.

Two (2) plugs on the base of the oil pan; the one most forward and inboard is the oil drain plug; the plug towards the outside and more to the rear is the transmission drain plug. Hopes this will help.
